05/06/20: CS' very own Zaire joined Clinical Psychologist, Diaspora-centered healer & Educator Dr. Afiya Mbilishaka for an IG Live discussion about Hip Hop Therapy. The two discussed the intersectionality of culture and therapy, from research to history and more. They discuss the need for cultural competence within the field of Music Therapy, and expand on the frameworks of Don Elligan and his influence into their research. Zaire even rounds out the discussion with a freestyle off the top of the dome.
